In my search for a new destination in Southeast Asia, I came across the Phillipines. As a person interested in history, I was very aware of the importance of these islands in the Second World War, but apart from some beach impressions, I flew to this region quite uninformed. 

Travelling in the Phillipines is really not to be underestimated, the food is not outstanding and very westernised (fast-food), but the beaches are super beautiful and the people really exceptionally friendly! All in all, it was a very nice trip!
