After a lot of life-changing things happened to me in 2014, I went to „come down“ in the summer months to the „East(t)German“ regions in what is now Warmia / Masuria for a family visit! In addition to a completely regular summer holiday, as someone interested in history I was finally able to take a conscious look at e.g. the Wolfsschanze (former Führer headquarters) near Rastenburg (the last visit was only visible to me from video recordings). Impressive shit, that much is safe.

On the way back, I was finally able to see the Marienburg Castle of the former Teutonic Knights, which we had been driving past for years. Very well preserved and historically very interesting!
