I hadn’t heard too much about this island either before my trip. Sardinia. Does it have anything to do with fish?! I asked myself this and similar questions before boarding the plane to Italy.

After all, there seemed to have been another important German base here during the Second World War (if that’s not a reason for a visit!). Apart from that, Sardinia is known for its delicious wines, good food (e.g. honey, etc.) and a landscape that in places is very reminiscent of the Seychelles. But you should definitely avoid the classic cities. In my opinion, there is nothing worth seeing there!
