On my return journey home from Thailand, I deliberately planned some time for a stay of several days in the Emirates. I visited Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Certainly the two most famous cities in the UAE.

Maybe I visited the wrong places and overall I can certainly give the Emirates the stamp „impressive“, but to stay longer than just at the airport again?! I think not. For me, the city is too touristy, too „big“, too artificial and too much about luxury.
